The Committee was pleasantly surprised by the number of grant proposals submitted for the inaugural round of funding for the Patriot Green Fund. There were initially 22 preliminary proposals which were screened for applicability and 14 applicants were asked to submit final proposals. Officially, 7 projects were given the thumbs-up for funding, totaling around $50,000. The end of the school year wrapped up with fewer projects of larger size, totaling about $66,000.
