    BIKE COMMUTING 101:

Bicycling to campus can be fun and great for your well-being. Research indicates that those who bike to work are the happiest with their commute.

On Thursday, April 5, join Rick Holt from Human Resources and Payroll (a League of American Bicyclists certified instructor) and Bethany Usher, associate provost for undergraduate education and part-time bike commuter, for Bicycle Commuting 101 in Merten Hall, Rm 1204.

Rick and Bethany will share information to help you feel more confident about getting to campus on two wheels. The session will cover basic bicycling information, such as bicycle selection, fit, inspection, gearing, cadence, clothing, accessories, and routes to campus. Mason Transportation will share information about bike resources during the session.

Sponsored by Mason Transportation and Human Resources and Payroll, the training is open to all faculty, staff, and students.

Register online. For questions, contact transpo@gmu.edu or 703-993-2828.
