Want to learn to cook with ingredients that are seasonal, local, wild-foraged, inexpensive, easily accessible and campus-grown?

Join University Sustainability’s food experts with partners like Mason Dining and the School of Art to learn how to prepare sustainable meals and eat for free! We’re hosting this special event on Friday, April 19, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Sculpture Studio Yard of the Art Building at Mason’s Fairfax Campus.

We’re continuing a tradition to host HANDS-ON community cooking events every semester to address food insecurity and foster sustainable living on campus. Learn how to prepare and cook appetizers, drinks, entrees, and snacks with hands-on guidance. Read about our event in fall 2022 called Earthsgiving in the article here.
