Location: University-wide
Mason Patriots are encouraged to voluntarily turn off and unplug all non-critical lighting and electrical loads in offices, residence halls, classrooms, and laboratories at the Fairfax, Science and Technology, and Mason Square Campuses from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4th. The power will still remain on, and all university operations will continue normally. Mason Patriots make the university more sustainable by taking action! 2023 is the ninth year of Lights Out, Power Down! held to coincide with Energy Efficiency Day.
